Socket connection to server

Reported by Mike | March 11th, 2010 @ 02:55 PM

There are already 3 mercury receivers online.
Is it possible to have a server connection menu option to select an IP address and start streaming data?
Thanks!

The mercury receivers online use a totally different system for passing their data around. You don't get I/Q data from them, you get audio data and some sort of limited bandscope data. I haven't looked in detail at the ghpsdr3 code, but the likelihood of the current code supporting it is low. I have plans to make a ghpsdr3 compatible backend for the Mac based on the USB processing code in MacHPSDR tentatively named "Ichabod". This will allow you to use the java client and the DSP daemon with the Mac.

Sounds good. Looking forward to a MacHPSDR server.
