Transmit Hot Key - Drops ThumbDV

a is the transmit hot key so I can't use it in text or reflector.
If I attempt to add REFXXX-A
I get "Link Destination not found"
AND It drops the thumbdv
Preferences/Vocoder shows the serial port, but no product id or version
Unplugging and replugging ThumbDV brings it back.
